Everyone has an inkling of what they consider to be the belle epoque. The connection, moment (or season) that feels like a distant good dream. If only we could recapture it. Return to it. Reconnect to it. This is the closest we can get to articulating this yearning. This magical telecommando that eludes us. The comfortable position that stirs us into perpetual readjustment. The lifelong companion that dances alongside us: saudade.
